Boss's Day ....... Oct 2010

Budapest - Hungarian Special Forces have confirmed the arrest of the notorious gunrunner, Attila Ambrus who has been evading capture since 1999. Ambrus, a.k.a Gary Govender has been hiding in South Africa where he has used his underground connections to establish himself at an unnamed financial services institution.

Special Forces spokesman, Bosĵãn Fœrmän told media at a news conference that after months setting up a complex sting operation, Govender had been lured into competing in a marksman competition held recently in Hungary. “We have been working day and night for many month to convince Govender that the competition is valid and that he had in fact qualify. This was a good trick, yes.” Fœrmän went on.

He extended many thanks for the help of Johan Jansen of the South African Field Target Airgun Association, commenting that Johan made Govender feel “part of the team” and that Govender was under no impression that everything around him was a set up.

Gunrunner Govender was deported back to his adopted home country of South Africa where Hungarian authorities are satisfied that the South African legal system would be able to “deal with him”. It was later reported by the South Africa Police Service that they had lost Govender the day he arrived in Cape Town.

Govender was last sighted in the vicinity of Bellville, a suburb in Cape Town renowned in the underworld as a safe haven for the Eastern Bloc’s most-wanted. Members of the public are urged not to approach this crime boss.

Govender is also wanted for questioning regarding match fixing during a World Foosball tournament.
